Building 1 & 2 Re-Roof
Location: Ocala, Florida
Scope included removal of the existing roof membrane and roof insulation to expose the top surface of the structural metal decking. Raised existing equipment curbs and removing non-functional rooftop equipment. Install rigid roof insulation to create a minimum average R value of 25 and creating a minimum roof slope of 1/8" per foot. Installed a new parapet wall flashing, expansion joints, area dividers, and equipment support. The new roof consisted of one layer of rigid roof insulation capped by a cover board mechanically fastened to the structural deck, with an adhesive applied waterproof membrane.
